Cuando se trata de probar cables de buena calidad lo mejor es hacerlo con tiempo. Necesitan bastantes horas para acomodarse al equipo, si el dieléctrico es teflón (el más utilizado en los cables de calidad)cada vez que los manipulamos suenan peor(se cargan por el efecto piezoeléctrico) y necesitan un tiempo de "reposo"...
No hace mucho mi hermano se ha hecho con una cable Equinox para los HD650. Mirando información por ahí he encontrado esto en Head-fi sacado del siguiente hilo: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f61/equinox-user-group-performance-tips-276111/
Tip: Before the Equinox cable is shipped, it undergoes an ionization treatment. This eliminates the static charge build-up which occurs during assembly. During shipping and during regular use, a static charge will build-up proportional to the use. The more the cable is used, the more it moves and thus the quicker the static charge builds.
When you receive your Equinox cable, use a ion gun (static gun) to eliminate any static that built-up during shipping. When using the Equinox cable, apply the static gun once a week. Also, for optimal performance either keep the Equinox cable elevated from the headphone amplifier to you. When the cable touches the floor (especially carpeted floors) the material from the floor absorbs a portion of the audio signal and degrades it.

Rodrigo, ¿has llegado a probar lo de la pistola estática de iones?. El Equinox utiliza teflón, pero si este material es tan bueno ¿cómo es posible que requiera esos cuidados especiales?
