Un conocido forero de Head fi me ha comentado que los gradistas del foro yanky andan revolucionados con estos drivers que vende Magnum.
http://www.symphones.ca/index.htmEn este hilo hablan de ellos:

Francisco,
Greetings! I've gone through 3 sets of Magnum v.4 drivers already.
Since they are sold and shipped from Canada, they cost me about
$140.00 (US Currency) to get to me. $120 for the drivers and about
$20 for the shipping.
As far as my experience with them, they are wonderful drivers. They
are more balanced and not harsh sounding like the Grado drivers -
SR-225, SR-325, etc. However, they are still detailed and provide a
great response at most frequencies that is well balanced. They
provide a beautiful sound and in my opinion - as well as many others,
the drivers will turn a pair of headphones with wooden cups into a
headphone that will compete with the Grado "RS" series when it comes
to sound quality.
Does this mean it beats out the RS-2i, or the RS-1i? Or, even a
higher level Grado? Possibly. The only other high-end experience
I've had was with the Alessandro MS-Pro, which is essentially the
RS-1i, but with some driver changes. I did not like the sound of the
MS-Pro at all. The bass was great, but the detail was stripped when
it came to my music. In this regard, that is where I think the Magnum
driver is a real winner.
Enjoy!

Nice to hear from you Cabillas.
Now, as for the Symphones Magnum drivers, they are really FANTASTIC!
To my ears, they do everything right: Excellent bass, sweet midrange,
good treble detail. Very balanced throughout the spectrum, excellent
instrument separation. Personally, I have not heard any Grado driver
as good as the Magnums.
If you are planning GS1000 clones, I would be sceptical of the
G-cushions. In my experience they create too much emphasis on the
higher frequencies, which can become somewhat sibilant and strident.
As a result I prefer L-cushs and TTVJ flats or reversed Senns.
Greetings from Austria
Michael

Wow! Selling your Grados?? I never thought I'd see you say that!
Here is the thread on the Magnum:
http://www.head-fi.org/t/576717/grado-modders-go-magnumThis is the website:
http://www.symphones.ca/index.htmYou can email them and the person (Rhydon) should be able to sell you
drivers for 120 USD. They are much better than normal Grado drivers.
They are detailed, but smooth. Many of us prefer them. On head-fi,
some people are comparing them to the Grado PS1000!
